Obluda Studios

Founded in 2025 by Alfa Abdulkadir, Obluda Studios is a one-person creative experiment disguised as a design and art studio.

Alfa, a Nigerian multidisciplinary designer, self-taught artist,  with a (BA) in Computer Aided Engineering and an (MA) in Product Design, leads every aspect of the studio’s work, from concept development and design research to the hands-on creation of each piece.
 

With over five years of experience working across the creative sector, Alfa has cultivated a deep curiosity and understanding of material, form, and the stories objects can tell.

The goal of the studio, and of Alfa, is the authentic expression of the human condition through a balanced combination of subject matter, material, colour , form, and cross- disciplinary design and art practices , that ultimately transcends cultural boundaries and speaks to every human.
